VTP Engineering is a structural engineering consultancy based in Perth WA, founded by Sebastian Chira in 2006. For over eight years has been activating under the umbrella of a big consulting group in Perth, specialising in site inspections and engineering services on site. Now the practice is completely independent, providing an affordable service to the customers without the large corporate overheads.

Sebastian is a Chartered Engineer, Member of the Institution of Engineers, Australia - Western Australia Division and is registered with National Engineering Register (NER).

Sebastian has a proven track record in building investigations, design, rehabilitation and remediation works:

•    over 335 inspections for wall removal and renovations
•    265 cracked houses investigations
•    over 160 unauthorised structure assessments

He has extensive experience in providing site inspections and assessments for building movements, roof framing distress, deterioration, damage and defects, reinforced concrete swimming pools, underpinning, excavations, compliance inspections, retaining walls, free-standing walls, renovations, extensions, wall removals, etc.

As a consulting structural engineer, he has a wide range of expertise in design and structural analysis of steel structures, timber, masonry and reinforced concrete.
